Evening Rainbow: An Outing With Loved Ones

Image
Assalamu'alaikum. It's been more than 5 years I guess, since we last went out together - three of us, I mean. Now all of us have grown 5 more years or so, bitter sweet and painstaking years, that is. Looking at the pictures made me very humble and at the same time emotional. Nothing can take our love for each other away, really for we're flesh and blood related by birth. You hurt any of us, you hurt us all - a sentiment you can't even begin to stir. Something you might tend to forget sometimes.  We went to KL Pavilion, Bukit Bintang to get a few things done and what a lovely time we had! I wish we were all 5 instead of just 3. We don't really look alike at one glance, in case you haven't noticed. May be due to our Malay-Chinese-Siamese-Pattani-Bugis-Pakistan ancestors, each one of us carries different dominant genes altogether. And being the eldest, I'm the shortest of 5 as the heights were apparently reserved for the other 4. Well, seems like i

School Holiday, UPSR result and a Striped Abaya

Image
Assalamu'alaikum. It's almost the end of this week, another speedy weekdays yet again. School holiday is also around the corner, with tomorrow the last day of schooling. And today is the UPSR result day, which I'm yet to feel tensed in two year's time when Junior in Standard 6. Congratulations and Celebrations to those who have passed with flying colors, especially 5 straight A's, the feeling of which I still remember up to this day. But fret not, it's not the end of the world but it's actually the start of a long education journey. You deserve a pat on your own shoulders, dearest!  Anyways, I wore a pair of new striped abaya that my best family friend bought in Abu Dhabi in their recent trip there recently. I really love this abaya and wouldn't mind to keep wearing it to places. At least it's a spark to my black abayas, I guess. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't want any other black abayas, but of course! LOL. There goes a quick

Kurung Pahang On Friday of Migrain

Image
Assalamu'alaikum. Yesterday I suffered from quite a heavy migrain and l didn't have much choice but to lie down and try not to think of any workload, to no avail of course. It's been a while since I last got such attack, must be the weather or too much caffein these days of late. Or the stress, that is. I wonder if there's in fact a career without much stress that I should consider taking. Meanwhile, I've just gotta manage it much more brilliantly, I guess. Those who have the same problem would know how it's like when migrain does attack - such a spinner! Round and round and round and round you just have gotta sit still and take your glasses off, if possible.  Thank God the pain did subside a little in the evening so I could call it a day and drove home to Junior, who obviously had been waiting. When I was about to park the car at home, I received a Facebook message from him, "Mummy, what are you doing?". I made a point of answering,

Havoc Yet Wonderful Saturday

Image
Assalamu'alaikum. It's been a marathon Saturday so far, when I had to run to Junior's school for his report card and drop by at the nearest clinic to check his never ending cough. Come next week and he's still coughing, we've gotta go to the hospital for thorough screening. Then once home,  I changed to a cotton t-shirt and started cooking before leaving the floor to bibik. Now as I'm writing this, I have taken my home-made lunch. I didn't get to snap his picture after the treatment, what a waste. He was so excited with the nebulizer thingy that he couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. Little that he knew his mummy was sad to see him in that condition. But as usual, moms have gotta force loads of smiles... Thank God I have recovered from migrain that had attacked me yesterday. Alhamdulillah. I wouldn't have got the chance to do everything that I did today otherwise. That's all for now, thanks for dropping by. Have a bles

Hot Latte, Ma'al Hijrah and Egyptian Abayas

Image
Assalamu'alaikum. Salam Ma'al Hijrah, you guys.. It's a public holiday here in Malaysia and I'm at  home away from home someplace in Putrajaya. Forgive my lack of stories nowadays, but things have been so messed up lately, with work, life and what not. So, let's see what we have right here, shall we? Last Friday I sat alone sipping my hot latte while waiting for a client at the nearby Starbucks, who happened to be late for more than an hour or so. What else could I do other than browsing the internet and taking own picture(s), right? Better than getting angry, that is.  But then again, looking at my non-smiling selfie, you know that I couldn't help getting agitated, though. This waiting game has never been exciting anyways.  Then at night, I got a few pictures via whatsapp from Egypt, asking me to choose which abayas that I would love to have. Well, may be due to plain tiredness and boredom, I wasn't really happy to choose. Either that o
